How is this different from a regular snorkel tour?
Regular snorkel tours focus on surface viewing of marine life. Snorkel Pro teaches you specialized techniques to confidently dive below the surface, extending your underwater time and accessing deeper areas.
Do I need previous freediving experience?
No freediving experience necessary! This experience is specifically designed for snorkelers looking to advance their skills. Basic comfort in open water and previous snorkeling experience are all you need.
Will this prepare me for a freediving certification?
While Snorkel Pro isn’t a certification course, many guests find it excellent preparation should they decide to pursue formal freediving training later. You’ll learn fundamental techniques that give you a strong foundation to build upon.
Is this experience physically demanding?
This activity is moderately challenging. You should be comfortable snorkeling in open water and in good general health. No extreme athletic ability required – just a willingness to learn and challenge yourself.
What should I bring?
Just bring your swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and your sense of adventure. We provide all necessary equipment including high-quality masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuit and weight belt.

We start Snorkel Pro at 9am and finish around 12pm. We offer one session per day, in the morning when conditions are the best.
Kona Training Facility
We operate on the beautiful Kona coastline on Big Island. Our training facility is located along the most private and pristine coastal area in Hawaii.
